Broadmeadows Estuary - Business as Usual...

This is just a quick update to let you know that it is business as usual for our Windsurfing and Dinghy Sailing activities on the Broadmeadows Estuary.

Following the collapse of the railway bridge and a request from the Irish Coastguard we took the decision to suspend activities last weekend while the extent of the problem was investigated. We are now satisfied that the bridge poses no additional risk to our activities so courses and hire are available again as normal.

On another note, we have a couple of places available on a National PWC Certificate (Jetski) course this weekend and our list of end of season windsurfing equipment for sale is now available.

2. Powerboating:

• National Powerboat Certificate is also an international qualification for use of boats overseas.
• National Powerboat Cert: August 29+30, September 5+6, 12+13, 26+27
  NPC Student Special*: October 3+4, 20+21. Only €240pp
• Safety Boat Cert: October 22+23, November 14+15
  Advanced Powerboat Cert: September 19+20, October 17+18, November 28+29

3. Windsurfing: Go Coastal!!!!!!!!!!
Intro to wave sailing course Nov. 7th-8th. This course is perfect for those looking take their first steps into this exhilarating world. The course will take place in either Westport or Donegal depending on the forecast.

4. Kids Windsurfing Wednesdays
With back to school time just around the corner we will have Wednesday afternoons available for kids to come down and practice their skills under qualified supervision.
Every Wednesday 2pm - 5pm, €25 per session.

5. Adult Dinghy Sailing

A Taste of Sailing, Start Sailing Level 1 and Basic Skills Level 2 dinghy sailing courses are available at weekends until the end of September. Dates: August 22+23, September 5+6, 12+13, 26+27.
